I’M BUILDING ATHLETES AND TEACHING THEM HOW TO MOVE WITH PURPOSE

Coop Athletics was built on a simple belief:

Athletes don’t need more workouts. They need the right development.

Through structured performance training, expert coaching and measurable progression, we help athletes become faster, stronger, more explosive and more confident in competition.

I’m Jesse Cooper — Coach Coop — and I’m the founder of Coop Athletics.

I’ve spent years around sports, athletes and training, and one thing I’ve learned is that working harder doesn’t automatically make an athlete better.

The right training does.'

An athlete can spend hours in the weight room, run countless drills and leave every workout exhausted, but if they’re not developing the qualities that actually transfer to performance, they’re simply doing more work.

That’s where my approach is different.

I don’t believe in training athletes just to make them tired. I believe in developing the qualities that make them better athletes:

Strength. Speed. Power. Explosiveness. Agility. Movement.

Then we teach athletes how to use those qualities efficiently.

That’s what Coop Athletics is built around.

built through competition

I’ve been around sports my entire life.

I grew up playing football and basketball, competing through high school before taking the next step and playing collegiate football at Bloomsburg University, a Division II powerhouse.

At Bloomsburg, I became a four-year starter at cornerback and earned All-American honors.

From there, I continued my playing career in the Arena Football League, competing at the professional level for five seasons.

But the game taught me more than how to compete. It taught me what it takes to perform.

I learned that athletic performance isn’t built from one workout, one drill or one day in the weight room.

It’s built through consistent development, quality coaching and learning how to use your body effectively. Those experiences became a major part of how I coach today.

I’ve taken what I learned through years of competition and built it into the way we develop athletes at Coop Athletics.

I don’t just want athletes to train harder. I want them to understand how to become better athletes.
